We're going to Peru!!! This is a picture of Machu Picchu Incan ruins in Peru. It sounds crazy, doesn't it? We have only been up and running for six weeks now, but we are taking some about 15 people from our church on a crash course in a church planting trip to Peru. The leadership at Antioch Waco and some of our US church plants recommended we do a short term summer mission trip to get people at our church envisioned for church planting from the start. We had heard that God was really moving in Peru and have a, so on July 5 we are packing up and heading out there. We hope to share the good news with the people there through ministering to the poor, presenting gospel dramas, and working alongside a medical mission team who will be there at the same time. While none of us are qualified to give medical attention, we are believing for the power of God to show up in signs, wonders, and healings.
